The first step is to understand your carbon impact. This means knowing how much CO2 is produced from your everyday activities like energy use and transport. If you're a business, it also means knowing how much CO2 your suppliers produce on your behalf. Our online carbon calculators make it easy to get started. If you're a business and your footprint is complicated, contact us and we'll work with you to determine your carbon footprint. Knowledge is power.

Zero Impact means finding ways to reduce your carbon footprint - preferably to zero. We'll help you find ways to use cleaner energy and to use it more efficiently. And we'll help you rethink how you travel and look for better ways to get to where you're going. These alterations will reduce your carbon emissions, and aim to get you all the way to Zero Impact.

BTCV is a charity which supports hundreds of thousands of volunteers every year to improve local green spaces for people, communities and wildlife. By connecting people with green places near to where they live, BTCV helps to change people's behaviour for the benefit of the environment.
