CitySprint’s national courier fleet comprises over 1500 vehicles including pushbikes, motorbikes, small and large vans. This enables us to have a solution to meet all of your delivery needs. We continue to develop a highly flexible and diverse fleet, which allows us to provide our customers with the level of response and quality of service you expect. An example of our continual development of our fleet was the introduction of Smart cars.
CitySprint now offers motor bike and push bike couriers the opportunity to get ‘Smart’. CitySprint has a number of branded Smart cars as part of our fleet and uses the two-seater minis as parcel delivery vehicles.

The vehicles have been a huge success and are perfect for city driving, at only 2.5 metres in length and with a full turning circle of 8.7 metres they make a perfect delivery partner. This new addition to CitySprint’s fleet is of benefit to the environment as the Smart car has |
the lowest CO2 emissions than many other cars on the road. CitySprint has a company wide environmental policy and programme in place that seeks to reduce the impact of the business on the environment to a minimum.
CitySprint's mission to always offer a professional service is no different when it comes to our fleet and drivers. Vehicles are regularly inspected and meet the highest of standards and CitySprint always seeks to attract and retain the highest quality couriers. CitySprint couriers are all provided with uniforms, ID badges, safety clothing, high visibility jackets and safety boots. On request we can also train our fleet to specific customer requirements. e.g. many of our fleet have been security trained to undertake international shipments.
Each member of the CitySprint Fleet is issued with a courier information booklet which highlights Health & Safety, Manual Handling and Road Legislation.
Couriers are equipped with mobile data units (CityTrakkers) across our nationwide network. They receive their jobs electronically through the CityTrakker and then confirms acceptance of the job, confirm the pick up and the delivery of the packages. |

All of the information is automatically uploaded onto CitySprint OnLine for customers to view the status of their deliveries. Customers may sign the CityTrakker as a proof of delivery and these signatures may be viewed through our OnLine system.
We are very proud that a number of members of our fleet have been recognised with a number of industry awards including, the ‘4-Wheel’ category in the 2006 and 2005 National Courier Awards, the ‘2-Wheel’ category and the ‘Corporate Safety’ category in the 2004 National Courier Awards, the ‘UK’s Best Courier Network’ in the ITM’s 2005 Awards.
CitySprint also reached the finalist stages of the 2005 Information Management (IM) Awards, reached the final three of the ‘Environmental Category’ in the International Freighting Weekly’s Awards and was ‘Highly Commended’ in the Fleet Safety Forum Awards for Excellence.
