CitySprint Executive TeamAndrew Bernard - (Chief Executive)
Andrew Bernard Andrew has been at the forefront of the Transport and Logistics Industry for nearly 20 years. After a successful period managing a global Forwarder’s UK and European businesses, Andrew moved to CitySprint in 2001, originally in an Interim Management role. He subsequently concluded a successful acquisition of CitySprint in 2002, and has been Chief Executive of the business since the acquisition. Andrew has a passion for creating quality of service throughout CitySprint. He has ensured that the CitySprint brand is highly recognisable, and has a mission to establish CitySprint as the leading Courier business within the UK. Gerard Keenan - (Finance Director)Gerard qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte & Touche. Gerard has worked in senior financial roles for a number of service businesses including, most recently, a newly floated Pan European Colocation Company. After undertaking this role, which involved a Corporate Finance role in a Rights issue and AIM listing, Gerard joined CitySprint in October 2004 and is responsible for the financial management of CitySprint. Jocelyn Tyacke - (Commercial Director)After graduating from Durham University with a degree in Chemistry, Jocelyn undertook a further year study in Management Studies. She has a strong background in Sales and Marketing through her time at a global Document Management company for over 11 years. During that time she undertook a wide range of roles including Sales Management, Channel Management and Customer Satisfaction (EMEA). Jocelyn joined the business in March 2001 and has the wide ranging role of developing CitySprint’s overall Commercial strategy. Ben Haynes - (Managing Director - Regions)Ben joined the Executive Team in March 2004, twelve months after CitySprint acquired the International and SameDay courier divisions of the Midlands based logistics group that he founded in 1994. Since his initial role in successfully bedding in the acquisition, Ben has taken responsibility for the regional business of CitySprint. Ben has 15 years specific sector experience, starting from when he set up his first courier business in London at the age of 19. Ben is based in our MidlandsCentre in Warwick. Patrick Gallagher - (Managing Director - London)Patrick has over 18 years experience in the transport and distribution sector, following his initial role as a Management Trainee for a major retailer. Patrick was formerly responsible for the North American operations of a US Courier business, which included 24 centres throughout the United States. Patrick returned to the UK in December 2000, joining CitySprint’s management team and has been part of the Executive team since then. His focus is on the London market, covering both the courier and Passenger car requirements of clients. Am Pall - (Fleet & Specialist Services Director)Am's experience in the courier and passenger car industry goes back to 1985. Am has held a number of roles including responsibility for Quality Management and Investors in People. Am has been instrumental in developing training courses for the Private Hire industry and setting up the first Private Hire Training centre in Central London. Am joined the business in 2000, and his role within CitySprint encompasses training, fleet management, and insurance, as well as Newspaper Distribution. Mike Timlett - (IT Director)Prior to joining CitySprint, Mike worked as a Senior IT Manager for a Global Integrator. At CitySprint, Mike’s role encompasses the management and development of the systems supporting the wide services provided. Mike joined the Executive Team in January 2003. He has responsibility for CitySprint's IT development. |
