Why CitySprint? Over the past seven years we have achieved double digit growth every year. We handle over 3 million critical deliveries a year and we are able to support this level of business because we operate the UK's largest same day courier fleet. Each of our 2000 couriers are GPS-enabled, ensuring we have sight of them at all times across our 35 locations. Our clients also have a complete and transparent live view of the courier doing their job - this is a unique national service that remains a key factor in our business success.
We have an experienced and motivated management team combined with an unrivalled infrastructure and technological solutions, which support our continued growth plan whilst providing courier service excellence across the UK.
In summary, privately owned and non-franchised, we are committed to our national network and have a passion and desire to further grow our presence throughout the UK.
Our most recent significant acquisition were the courier operations of Lewis Day and Medical Services Limited in November 2011. These allowed us to further expand our national network with the addition of 4 new service centres, supporting both our local and national customers alike.
Another successful recent acquisition was Swindon based Road Runners, in October 2010; a successful courier company, servicing many businesses in the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire areas. However, the owners decided that in order to effectively support customers outside of their local area, a more extensive geographic presence was required. Working with CitySprint enables them to achieve just that, whilst also further establishing CitySprint's strength in the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire area.
In 2010 and 2009, we acquired Warwickshire based On the Dot Couriers and Telford based Jaguar Couriers and in November 2008, PBS couriers in Birmingham.
