CitySprint exhibits at this year's Biomedical Science Congress in Birmingham

CitySprint recently unveiled its new PathTrak pathology transportation system at this year's Biomedical Science Congress on 27th September, to bring healthcare professionals up to speed with the latest 'track and trace' system.

Attending the most successful Biomedical Congress to date, CitySprint's Healthcare Director, Andy Turner, hosted a special 30-minute seminar about PathTrak, which received a positive reaction from delegates. A drinks reception was also held later in the day to celebrate the 'official' launch of CitySprint’s innovative service.

Over 3,500 delegates attended the three-day show, with around 1,000 visiting CitySprint's exhibition stand. The new PathTrak animation was a key feature of the display and caught the attention of many delegates.

Andy Turner, HealthCare Director comments, "We were delighted to attend this years IBMS event and present PathTrak to an array of healthcare professionals. It was a great opportunity to meet new and existing customers. We received positive feedback and strong interest in the new service from a number of delegates."

Over 200 of the delegates who visited the CitySprint exhibition stand entered a prize draw with the chance to win a trip to Paris with Eurostar. The winning delegate will be contacted soon.

PathTrak was developed by CitySprint to address the pathology and transport issue recently identified by the Royal College of Pathology as a weak link in the patient journey.
