CitySprint supports MITIE and helps provide 'Warm Hugs' to the homeless this winter
CitySprint has supported its client MITIE's 'Warm Hugs' campaign for the homeless for the second year running.
CitySprint provided vital support to the campaign on Monday 1st November by collecting donated clothing from across London and delivering to homeless charity, The Passage, in SW1 free of charge.
MITIE, which provides strategic outsourcing services for some of the UK's biggest public and private sector businesses, has been using CitySprint's courier services on a daily basis, in London and across the UK, since 1994.
This MITIE's client services team in London has collected items of warm winter clothing for charity The Passage, to help make this winter a little warmer for the homeless in London. As MITIE's preferred courier supplier, and following the support provided in 2009, CitySprint was asked to assist again collecting clothes from various MITIE sites across the Capital and delivering them to The Passage.
Andrew Tang-Pullen, CitySprint Account Manager, explains "We have a long standing relationship with MITIE and were more than happy to assist them for a second year running to help get warm clothes to those who are unfortunate enough to be homeless on the streets of London at this time of year".
Debra Ward, Managing Director - MITIE's client services team, commented "CitySprint's involvement was again integral to the operation and we, and The Passage, are both extremely grateful for their kind support".
