Patrick Gallagher, Group Chief Executive Officer
Patrick has over 25 years in the same day distribution industry in a career which began in the call centre of a London delivery company.
Patrick’s wide range of experience includes managing a nationwide US courier business and more recently he led a successful management buy-out in 2010.
Since then Patrick’s been focused on expanding CitySprint’s market share and driving year on year growth at the company. In 2012 the company surpassed revenues of over £100m.
David Burtenshaw, Chairman
David has held senior board positions in the logistics sector for 30 years including with Federal Express, ANC and Lynx Express.
David became CEO of Lynx in 1999 and Chairman of the Board of the EuroExpress partnership in 2001, of which Lynx was a leading member. In 2005, David managed the sale of Lynx to UPS.
David was appointed Chairman of CitySprint in 2011 and is focused on working with the management team to continue the successful growth of the company.
Gerard Keenan, Group Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining CitySprint in 2004 Gerard held a number of senior financial roles for businesses in the service sector where he gained experience in the flotation and corporate financing of companies.
At CitySprint, Gerard has been instrumental in creating a firm funding foundation for the business and plays a key role in the growth of the company through acquisitions. In addition to managing the finances, Gerard is also responsible for the HR, IT and support functions of the business.
Paul Gisbourne, Chief Operating Officer
Paul has been instrumental in growing same day courier businesses throughout his career in this specialised market place since 1994. With a strong foundation gained at TNT and other successful National Companies, he has excelled in all positions from Sales and Operational Management roles, through to his current position to date.
He joined CitySprint in 2006 as a Regional Manager and with his broad skill set, successfully evolved through the business and now has a key role on the Executive team leading Group operations. Paul also has a responsibility for acquiring courier businesses as part of CitySprint’s buy and build strategy.
Naomi Ward, Chief Customer Officer
Naomi has a wealth of customer service experience, which began with CitySprint in 2003 as an on-site services representative for one of the business’ key clients.
Since then Naomi has played a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of customer services across the business and she is responsible for the company’s overall customer care and client retention strategy.
Darren Taylor, Chief Development Officer
Darren has 20 years industry experience within the logistics sector and joined CitySprint in 1997 with a proven track record in commercial, operational, project and account management.
Darren has played a key strategic role in the growth of CitySprint’s SameDay Logistics services and in particular has helped position CitySprint as a leader within the retail sector.
Justin Moore, Chief Sales Officer
Justin has been working in the distribution industry since 1994. Starting as a courier, he has since gained experience within operational, senior sales and business development roles, including five years at DHL.
Justin joined CitySprint in 2005 and is responsible for all areas of marketing, and new business development.
Mike Timlett, Chief Operations Officer
Prior to joining CitySprint in 2003, Mike worked as a Senior IT Manager for Global integrator, Securicor Omega Express.
At CitySprint, Mike is responsible for the IT strategy of the business which includes the day-to-day management of IT systems as well as overseeing the development of technological solutions within the business, such as the launch of the first ever same day booking and tracking app, MyCourier.
