Introducing our new Purpose

At CitySprint, we have always strived to put the needs of people at the heart of everything we do and deliver a reliable service through local experts, so we wanted to create a statement that reflects this. That’s why we are delighted to reveal our brand new Company Purpose.

Delivering what matters. We are passionate about delivering what matters for our customers, colleagues and suppliers. Whether we are delivering the life-saving equipment or a parcel on behalf of a local business, we deliver what matters.”

Every parcel is as important as the next and we wanted to put a spotlight on our commitment to serving every member of our community. Having a national reach with a local feel enables us to provide the right amount of customer support, deliver unmatched delivery performance levels and offer a quality of service to empower every customer we have.

Jon Stockton, CitySprint CEO, commented:

CitySprint has always been passionate about living up to our customers’ expectations, so launching our new purpose will really underpin everything we do and serve as a reminder to not only meet those expectations, but to exceed them and continually deliver what matters for our customers, colleagues and suppliers.”

What does it mean to us?

Recently we spoke with several colleagues around the business to ask what ‘delivering what matters’ means to them. The responses perfectly represent everything about CitySprint and their commitment to doing what’s right for our community.

It’s about what matters to our customers the most; they’re number one for us and it’s really about meeting their needs and requirements.” – Paul Pickering, Birmingham Service Centre Manager

Delivering what matters means getting the strategy right and making sure we deliver exactly what we’ve promised to the customer.” – Stuart Rees, Ops Manager

It’s really important to believe in the service and to know that you’ve got the people behind you to help you when things go right… and when they go wrong.” – Kate Baty, Territory Manager Sales North

For me it’s a drive, a consistency to do your best day in day out, and being as good as our last delivery.” – Michael Peterson, National Operations Manager

With our new purpose serving as the backbone to why we exist, we’ll soon be able to reveal exactly how we plan to go about delivering what matters.
