The continued safety of our customers, couriers and colleagues is of utmost importance to us. It is now more than ever, as we learn to live in a world of COVID-19 uncertainty, that we need to look after one another and put both health and safety first.
We want to take this opportunity to assure you that we’re very much open for business and are continuing to take steps to minimise disruption. Our aim remains the same – to offer you the best delivery service possible.
We continue to operate at near-normal and are seeing increased demand for our services. Whilst we are experiencing the same challenges as most businesses with colleague resource levels, the CitySprint team are working hard across the country to offer the delivery services that play a crucial role in local communities.
As of Wednesday 18th March, we have implemented a ‘contact-free’ delivery process across our network. This means that CitySprint couriers will collect and deliver without requiring your signature on their device. We will also deliver ‘left seen’ which means that couriers will no longer deliver across the threshold of residential addresses.
Following on from this, TfL announced that as of Monday 23rd March that all road charges will be suspended until further notice. We responded to this immediately by suspending Congestion and Clean Air charges on our customer accounts. Thus is yet another positive step to support NHS staff, and other key workers, with improved accessibility to London.
As always - please stay safe, look after your loved ones and keep an eye out for those who are vulnerable in your community.
