In a busy year that saw a new simplified structure come into effect, we made over 12 million critical deliveries, built up a fleet of 150+ zero emission vehicles and were rated number 1 for the best delivery experience by Which? customers.
Our three key divisions – CitySprint, LastMileLink Technologies and On the dot – were reorganised into two, combining the technology developed by LastMileLink Technologies with our technology focused retail brand, On the dot, to leverage efficiency and simplify our branding strategy. Both CitySprint and On the dot share the Group values whilst having a clear focus on how they will continue to help radically transform our industry.
High investment in technology and service delivery has enabled us to drive customer-focused innovation, meaning we can meet the demand for new delivery options, an improved customer experience and drive greater efficiencies.
Our incredible customers continue to help shape the way we operate and evolve as a business. In 2017 we partnered with more than 14,000 new customers across our 42 service centres, which also contributed to the growth of our fleet of 3,500 self-employed couriers to over 5,000!
