DevOpsGroup’s operations are fully conducted via work laptops to support their services and communicate with clients. Due to a major software update required and employees working remotely, the firm needed to collect employee laptops on a Friday evening and send them back on Monday morning before working hours, causing as little disruption as possible.
 

National reach

Due to the firm being acquired by Amdocs, a Nasdaq company, DevOpsGroup had to adjust their operations and update software used on all work devices. With a national reach and expertise for same day delivery, CitySprint’s support was required to conduct the IT transportation over the weekend.

Employee laptops were collected from all around the UK, after 4pm on Friday and delivered to the Cardiff headquarters to proceed with the software update. All devices were then collected by couriers on Monday morning and delivered back to employees before 10am, enabling them to start their working day with no issues.
 

Specific requirements

 

As the firm requested specific timings and requirements for the collection of their IT devices across many different addresses in the UK, CitySprint experts produced a bespoke solution.

Couriers, vehicles, and delivery routes were carefully selected by our team to ensure the deadlines could be met with ease and the firm informed at each stage. Reinforced boxes were used to package each laptop before transportation, to provide additional protection.
