CitySprint takes 5 wins at the 26th annual National Courier Awards

We are extremely honoured to have 5 winners at this years National Courier Awards, hosted by The Institute of Couriers.
In its 26th year, the National Courier Awards recognise and honour individuals in the courier industry who continue to go above and beyond. Every year, we join fellow courier companies from across the UK, both large and small, to collectively celebrate the achievements of those in our industry.

Rosie Bailey, Commercial Director and IOC fellow comments, "As always, the National Courier Awards last night were a celebration of all that is good in our industry. CitySprint were delighted to have such a large cohort of ten shortlisted nominees and we are rightly proud of our five exceptional winners, but the NCA event is about more than just your own awards. We rattled our clappers enthusiastically for every winner from a broad range of organisations and it is inspiring to hear about the diverse range of talented individuals and companies the Institute of Couriers represent."

With a total of 26 winners on the night, we are proud to introduce the 5 of those with CitySprint...

Mike Clarke, CitySprint Brighton Courier

Mike was awarded the Community Assistance award for his heroic act while out making deliveries. He stepped in to perform CPR on a collapsed workman, and managed to get his heart beating again. His quick thinking had saved this man's life, and should he not have been on the scene, the outcome could have been tragic. Mark is a true asset to CitySprint and we are proud to have him working with us.

Reggie Calder, CitySprint Southampton Courier

Reggie was commended for his "tenacity, comradery and dependability", while having a great work ethic and a team-player attitude. He is a true part of the team – making an appearance at every work function, fellow colleague charity event or social functions. A massive team player whom staff and clients respect and enjoy spending time with.

Iain Rosie, CitySprint Edinburgh Courier

Working with CitySprint in Edinburgh for over 20 years, Iain is the epitome of hard work and dedication. He is a pleasure to work with, both for our colleagues in Edinburgh and our customers, by thinking-ahead, remaining positive and presenting professionalism on a daily basis. Iain is highly respected by the couriers in our fleet and colleagues in the office, and we are pleased his impeccable service to us has been celebrated.

Lili Thomas, System Support Assistant

Lili has an uplifting disposition that makes her a pleasure to be around and to work alongside. She is hard working and conscientious with a can-do attitude. Not only did she hit the ground running when re-joining CitySprint, she never says no when a colleague is in need and will try her hand at anything. Not only does Lili perform her day job to a very high standard, but she also goes above and beyond to ease the burden of additional workload to her team.

Zoe Walsh, Courier Engagement Administrator

Over her 6 years at CitySprint, Zoe has set an example for going above and beyond, and displays quick thinking to resolve any issues at hand. She is always so happy and bubbly and genuinely wants to help those around her. Zoe proactively makes sure drivers get onto the system and out on the road as quickly as possible to ensure we can continue to provide excellent service to our customers.
