Now in its 6th year, Collaborate UK is CitySprint’s report on how SMEs are feeling in the current political and economic climate.
This year, we have decided to break down the report into three topical themes: Brexit and business confidence, technology and sustainability.
Our research covers of the opinions from over 1,000 SMEs located throughout UK and gauges how they are feeling in the lead up to some uncertain times in the country, such as leaving the EU and the introduction of ULEZ.
Our first instalment of this year’s research covering Brexit and business confidence has picked up some great coverage already from the likes of Business Leader, Fleet News and Business Money. We can see the importance of these insights found in our report and how they can be utilised by other businesses, as well as hopefully encourage collaboration amongst the SMEs that are the backbone of the UK. CitySprint Group CEO, Patrick Gallagher commented:
‘’It’s encouraging to see that small and medium businesses have continued to maintain their optimism, with confidence actually growing year-on-year even in the face of uncertain economic times. Although businesses are understandably focused on their day-to-day operations, it’s essential that small businesses consider how and where their business could be impacted by Brexit and prepare accordingly.”
The next instalment of Collaborate UK, focusing on how SMEs are approaching more sustainable business and their response to the introduction of ULEZ, will be launched in just a fortnight so keep an eye out on our website and social media channels to see our next round of insights.
