Every day, we’re helping businesses to grow and prosper, including our local suppliers. We’re proud to work with the UK’s small and medium sized enterprises – they’re the powerhouse behind the economy and the reason we do what we do, and they make up an incredible 99.9% of the business population! Not only do we support thousands of SME customers across the UK as they grow, over 3,500 couriers work with us to deliver every single day. Local businesses are the driving force of our economy and CitySprint.

Celebrating success

CitySprint and the courier network who work with us are often recognised as industry leaders. Every year, the Institute of Couriers recognise those in the courier industry who provide an outstanding service in their sector. At the 2021 IoC National Courier Awards, a whopping ten CitySprint couriers and colleagues were nominated, with four going home as award winners.

In 2021, we were shortlisted for the SDH Logistics Awards 'Above and Beyond' category, in recognition of a business who went that extra mile for customers, colleagues and couriers in light of the CV19 pandemic.

Understanding our courier suppliers to help them grow

We never forget that our courier suppliers are a vital business community too. Without them our hard work would be going nowhere, so in late 2020 we carried out a detailed survey, to gain a deeper understanding of their concerns and aspirations. More than 1,100 people shared their feedback with us, providing priceless insights on an unprecedented scale.
 
We aim to be the number one supplier of choice for couriers, so that we have access to a bigger and more diverse mix of drivers to meet our customers’ growing needs. Equally we’re determined to empower drivers to maximise their earnings and grow their business – and simply enjoy doing what they do.

Collaborate UK

Our Collaborate UK SME survey takes a close look at the hopes and aspirations of the SME community. From business confidence and expansion plans, to the impact of Covid-19 and Brexit. We also examine collaboration tactics and green strategies – in fact everything that can help us understand our SME partners and help them innovate, grow and prosper.
 
After a year’s break because of the pandemic, Collaborate UK is back for 2021, with our report available now. There are plenty of new insights and revelations, but the fundamental resilience and agility of the SME community shines through, as it always does.
