Supporting the communities we operate in is integral to our business so we are proud to report that our team in Plymouth organised a donation of over 300 items to the Stonehouse Trussell Trust food bank.
The team decided to go the extra mile inviting colleagues, customers and local couriers we work with to support the Trussell Trust in their campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.
Through their collective efforts, over 300 items were gathered and donated to the local food bank which is designed to provide short-term, emergency support to those in need during a crisis.
A rise in demand for food bank services this year due to the pandemic and its effect on our economy meant the donation was well received, arriving on Tuesday 16
th December just in time for Christmas.
We are thrilled to see our people joining forces to support a great cause in their local communities and proud of the team for their generous efforts.
