This Easter, we decided to give back to our local communities.
Many of our service centres across the country played their part in collecting non-perishable food donations, which was then delivered to their local Trussell Trust foodbank in time for Easter.
In total, we managed to collect a staggering 2,135 items. We have had some great feedback from some of the foodbanks too:
‘’Thank you so much for your donations on Thursday. We are so grateful for and encouraged by your generosity. Please pass our thanks on to everyone involved and particularly the lady and gentleman who delivered it.
As you can imagine, food doesn’t stay on our shelves for any length of time, however on Thursday a fair bit of your donation went back out of the door within minutes. As Claire probably mentioned we don’t have a great deal of space at Preshal.
We had six families referred to us by local schools. Thanks to your kindness we were able to give them full bags.’’

'‘Just to say thank you very much for the kind donations to the foodbank. They've been gratefully received and help us to continue supporting those in need in our community.’’
