Our Quarter 3 Heroes are here

After 35+ nominations for over 30 colleagues and teams, we can now announce our amazing Q3 Heroes!

Every quarter, here are CitySprint we encourage our employees to nominate the colleagues they felt were worthy winners of our renowned ‘CitySprint Hero’ awards. We believe that the right company values drive an organisation's business operations, as well as show their beliefs, morals and ethics. That’s why when we see reliability, accountability, ambition and empathy shown by our colleagues, we love to reward it!

Tim Mitchell-Smith, who won our ‘Accountability Hero’ award,

Tim was recognised for his exceptional contribution to the Pricing Tariff Project throughout 2023. Dependable, skilful and committed, he consistently delivers high-quality work on complex projects and against tight deadlines, exceeding expectations and contributing significantly to the business’ success.

Bindia Vinayak, who won our ‘Reliability Hero’ award,

Bindia was nominated by multiple colleagues for the amazing impact she’s had since joining the team earlier this year. Spearheading the move from Looker to Power BI, she unpicked a myriad of data challenges so we could move to the new reporting system on schedule. Highly motivated, hardworking and helpful, Bindia definitely hit the ground running!

Selina Rahman, who won our ‘Empathy Hero’ award,

Selina was selected for going above and beyond to help couriers stay on circuit whilst ensuring they are compliant and our Operations teams are fully supported. As well as suggesting great ideas, she goes the extra mile for couriers whether it’s contacting insurance underwriters or managing IR35 calls. Funny, kind and ambitious, she’s made a big contribution to our warm and fun workplace.

Alison Savage, who won our ‘Ambition Hero’ award,

Alison was praised for playing a key role in delivering the recent courier pay trial. Whether it’s supporting the sites and couriers who were part of the launch, or owning how we presented and understood the trial data, she’s a dedicated and ambitious team member whose proactive leadership and attention to detail were pivotal in the project’s success.

Medway Service Centre, who won our ‘Team Heroes’ award,

The team was chosen for supporting a customer in their hour of need. One of our clients failed an audit as they had circa 600 prescriptions sitting in a back office and needed them delivered over a single weekend. The team at Medway found the couriers and managed all the deliveries throughout the weekend, impressing our client so much that they have now requested a nationwide solution for clearing backlogged prescriptions.

We’d like to offer a huge and well-deserved congratulations to all of this quarter’s heroes. We’d also like to give a special mention to all the other nominees for being recognised by their colleagues as heroes. Keep doing what you’re doing and spreading the CitySprint values!
