Crown Commercial Service Frameworks
For public sector organisations, CCS Frameworks are an easy-to-use option for purchasing from CitySprint.
The Crown Commercial Service is the biggest public sector procurement organisation in the UK and helps to simplify the buying process for all public sector buyers. That's why we're excited to have been awarded a position on two frameworks: Courier and Specialist Movements with the addition of Storage, Distribution, Kitting and Associated Services.
Courier and Specialist Movements
This is a UK-wide agreement and it replaces RM6171 Courier and Specialist Movements and RM6282 Specialist Courier Services.
Structured into 19 lots, this framework gives customers access to a full range of collection and delivery options and enables you to move anything from:
- Parcels
- Documents
- Bulk pallet movements
- High-value secure items
The agreement also allows you to move more specialist items including:
- Samples
- Specimens
- Pharmaceutical products including controlled drugs and medication
- Firearms, weapons and ammunition
You can also access an asset recovery service to dispose of and auction items which are no longer needed, this includes vehicles, IT and office equipment.
This agreement will run for 4 years and will expire on 4 February 2030.
Storage, Distribution, Kitting and Associated Services
Central government departments and all other UK public sector bodies can use the services provided by this agreement. This includes:
- Local authorities
- Emergency services such as health, police, fire and rescue
- Education sector
- Devolved administrations
Services provided include (but are not limited to):
- Lot 2 Storage, Fulfilment and Distribution
- Lot 2a Storage Solutions
- Lot 3 Courier and Transportation Services
- Lot 3a Collection and Delivery Services
- Lot 3b Secure Services
- Lot 3c Secure Collection and Delivery of Examination, Test Papers and Materials
- Lot 3d Managed Service for Specialist Movements
- Lot 3e International Courier Services
