Long service legends

Each quarter, colleagues who hit any of the five-year milestones of continuous service between 5-40 years are rewarded and showcased across the business.

Lunchtime learnings

Providing our employees with seminars led by subject-matter experts to help them gain the knowledge they require to thrive outside of the workplace.

Whistleblowing policy

This policy allows our employees the security and anonymity they need to speak up in the event that they need to report workplace wrongdoing.

Developing our people

Designed to find the future lifeblood and leaders of our business, we've created an apprenticeship programme that's already created nine positions across a number of our UK sites, allowing us to find talent locally. Each apprenticeship is a real opportunity to earn and learn, while achieving a professional qualification in the admin or service areas of the business.

Together we achieve more

It's important that everyone's voice is heard. That's why we’ve introduced the Colleague Voice Forum, which gives time and space to individual ideas for the future. Groups can get together and explore how we can be more efficient, productive, safe or happy in our work. This essential development has already resulted in tangible progress, with ideas on system training and sharing of best practice being implemented.

To embed this throughout the company, we're incorporating CSR into our induction processes for new employees, as well as creating local CSR plans and practices that are personalised to every site.
