Our 2023 Charity Wrapped

Journey with us through a year of amazing fundraising activities and stories.
Every year at CitySprint we strive to make a difference within our local communities and society. From concert ticket raffles to touring Britain, 2023 was a unique year of participating in fundraising projects and raising support and donations for great causes.

As 2024 begins we’re looking back at the fantastic activities that our colleagues contributed to across 2023. Journey with us through a year of fundraising activities and amazing stories.

Q1 Jan-March

January to March saw our colleagues support our charity partner, Make-a-Wish as well as Trussell Trust.

In January, colleagues from our Northern region offices (Leeds, Glasgow & Edinburgh) raised £130 for Make-A-Wish foundation through a special raffle of Ballantine’s blended scotch whisky. While our London South Fulfilment Teams, raised a total of £500.00 for John Ruskin Nursery to purchase brand new toys.

Across January and February, approximately £550 was raised at our Sheffield service centre and 1000+ items were donated to the local Trussell Trust foodbank in Rotherham.

Sheffield service centre manager, Richard F, confirms,

“Carrying on from the phenomenal contribution in 2022, we have just dropped off over 400 items, approx. £200 worth of food and sanitary products into the Rotherham Food Bank this morning (Thursday 16 March).

Q2 April-June

Q2 was another great period of fundraising for our charity partners, Make-a-Wish and Brake Road Safety.

In support of Brake, a total of £1440 was raised via our corporate annual sponsorship. At our annual national conference in April a total of £6500 was raised for Make-a-Wish via a raffle and auction. Across April through to June, our amazing colleagues at the Sheffield service centre raised a total of £350 for both Make-a-wish foundation and the Trussell Trust food bank respectively.

Meanwhile a special edition raffle to see Beyonce in concert was held which raised over £1000! Here’s what the lucky winner, Niall T. had to say:
