We’re excited to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Award and Customer Service Award.
Now in its 26th
year, the awards ceremony will take place on the 8th of November 2022 at London Hilton on Park Lane. Described as the benchmark for supply chain best practice, the awards look to recognise outstanding achievements in supply chain management and reward companies who have attained the highest standard.
Our entries in the two categories focused on how we supported patient health outcomes during the COVID 19 pandemic and the continuous improvements our teams have made to ensure customers experience the highest standard of service across the industries we operate in. Each submission discussed new techniques and initiatives that our experts have implemented to improve the value of our logistics services.
1. The Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Excellence Award
Open to anyone working in the life sciences, hospital and health devices supply chains, this award looks to recognise techniques or processes that have benefited patient care outcomes.
As the UK’s largest same day distribution company, CitySprint launched a new logistics solution in partnership with NHS South East London Integrated Care system
(SEL ICS). Vital pulse oximeters were collected and delivered to and from the homes of patients in South East London who had tested positive for COVID-19 during the ongoing pandemic.
Helping the NHS succeed
This service ensured that vulnerable individuals could safely stay on top of their blood oxygen saturation and pulse rate without exposing others to the virus. During a period of significant pressure, CitySprint Health
successfully delivered for the NHS and its patients.
According to our recent healthcare report
, 49% of senior decision makers in the healthcare sector believe patient expectations have been increased by pandemic experiences. Not only does this demonstrate the greater demand on the healthcare system, it also highlights the need for more efficient ways of working.
2. The Customer Service Award
This award recognises exceptional standards delivered for customer experience through different methods. Organisations who consistently exceed customer expectations by implementing innovative approaches, will be greatly considered for the award.
Within the last 12 months, CitySprint has invested significantly in improving customer service levels to enhance the experience we deliver. The outcomes include huge improvements to the reduction of call abandonment rates, increased speed and quality of call handling, and decreased email resolution times.
Recognised by others
With a less than 20-second telephone response rate, CitySprint has also been recognised and praised recently in The Times and The Sunday Times. As a result of the changes implemented, positive customer reviews have boosted our Trustpilot score to 4.5.
Alongside our recent success at the UK Business Awards for ‘Best CSR Initiative’ and carbon neutral certification, delivered 18 months ahead of schedule, 2022 is proving to be another promising year for CitySprint. We look forward to the winners being announced in November. Win or lose, we are honoured to have been recognised for our customer service efforts and support to the healthcare sector.
