We are thrilled to announce the second quarter award winners who have gone above and beyond to deliver what matters to our customers, colleagues, and wider communities.

The ‘Delivering what matters’ recognition scheme is designed to highlight the colleagues who stand out for demonstrating the right behaviours in the workplace and reward them accordingly. Every quarter, we select six winners that represent each one of our core values – accountability, caring, flexibility, honesty, passion, and respect. By demonstrating these values, we hope to continue delivering what matters and making a positive impact.

Without further ado, here are the latest winners…

1. Accountability – Jordan S.

"Jordan stepped up to the mark in quarter 2, working tirelessly and diligently to prepare CityDespatch and CityQuote for our launch. His valuable insights and dedication to delivering the highest quality have made the products much better, whilst also ensuring an important release could go ahead when the usual colleague responsible was on leave. Jordan has displayed truly exceptional accountability.”

2. Caring – Gobitha Y.

"Gobitha is a standout talent with the potential to be a future leader in the business. She has had a transformative impact by bringing structure, consistency and calm to her new department. Her approach has fostered a culture of mutual respect, trust, and open communication, which has helped to create a cohesive, collaborative onboarding team.”

3. Flexibility – Jade F.

"Jade always goes above and beyond to assist with the needs of our operations. She demonstrates incredible flexibility with her shift times, her role, as well as always stepping in when her team really needs help. Jade is an asset to the team and the company; her actions really helped her colleagues during a stressful time and ensured our service was kept to a high standard.”

4. Honesty – Stuart S.

"A valued member of the Reading team, Stuart embodies our core values, which contribute greatly to a positive, high-performing work environment. His proactive approach and positive behaviour demonstrate initiative and an amazing teamwork mentality. Stuart’s open and constructive communication style builds trust and contributes to smoother, more effective problem-solving. He’s a valuable and worthy winner!”

5. Passion – Natasha M.

"Natasha has shown great passion in coordinating one of our very important audit actions, as well as building and launching CitySprint’s new CSR strategy. Her dedication and commitment have helped colleagues across all functions to deliver an outstanding score of 99% on the audit, all whilst ensuring that we have a new CSR strategy to be proud of.”

6. Respect – Jon K.

"Jon was chosen for always going the extra mile and bringing collaboration to life with his super positive attitude. He has been recognised by colleagues and customers for his outstanding dedication and unwavering commitment to excellence. He is a model of reliability and hard work. Jon shares knowledge with a friendly smile and an eagerness to help others succeed, setting the gold standard for customer care.”
