This month, we would like to celebrate Pride 2022 and express our support towards the LGBTQ+ community, across the UK and in the world.
Empowering our colleagues is extremely important to us and makes up a large part of our company values. We pride ourselves in creating an inclusive and diverse place to work for people from all walks of life and creating a welcoming work environment where colleagues can feel free to express themselves.
To show our support to the LGBTQ+ community, this year we have donated
£1,000 to
MindOut, the LGBTQ+ mental health service. MindOut, a Brighton based charity, offers both online and in-person counselling to those in the community who need support coping with the effects of trauma, sexual abuse, anxiety/panic, and depression. They also run suicide prevention groups, Out of the Blue, that provides vital support to those with suicidal thoughts; as a result, the crucial support group saves approximately 20-30 lives per year.
In previous years, we've supported a variety of charities in honour of Pride month, including
The Diversity Trust and
Galop, as well as running internal campaigns to highlight and celebrate the importance of Pride amongst CitySprint colleagues.
