Almost a year ago we introduced our very own CitySprint heroes awards, a new reward and recognition scheme to replace what was formerly known as the Smart Delivery (SMARTIES) Awards.
Long-standing colleagues and customers will also remember our Shining Stars Awards
programme which worked in the same way by rewarding team members who reflected our core company values.
The new scheme, linked to our updated CitySprint Values
- Accountability, Reliability, Empathy and Ambition
– is aimed at recognising colleagues who not only reflect these values, but exceed expectations and can cover everything from delivering emergency medical supplies, supporting local charities, solving customer problems, helping colleagues or couriers in times of need or just leading the way by being positive and fun.
Every quarter we encourage our people to nominate colleagues who have gone above and beyond by sharing a few kind words on why they’ve chosen their hero and what the outcome was of their great work.
