In 2021, we partnered with the Trussell Trust Foundation to help local communities fight poverty. Since then, our local service centres across the UK have offered their time to gather and donate food supplies for those in need.
With
90% of Trussell Trust foodbank items donated by the public and
the cost of living reaching record levels in the UK, we are delighted to see the great results achieved by our teams in their efforts to support the local communities we operate in.
Since February 2022, we have been busy with local service centres, couriers and other keen individuals working together to gather and donate
an incredible 2811 items.
These generous donations are helping local foodbanks with the supply of essential products for those in need. Here are the impressive results our teams have achieved so far:

321 items donated to the local Trussell Trust Foodbank in
Norwich

213 items delivered to the Epping Forest Foodbank by our

CitySprint has over 30 sites spread across the UK, each located in different communities, and we are determined to make a positive impact in them all. Along with the Trussell Trust foundation, we are also working with Crisis, the homeless charity. Since our partnership began, we have donated over 100 vans helping Crisis transport supplies, repurposed furniture and moving vulnerable people in temporary accommodation.
Focusing on our current
CSR strategy is important to us and we want to encourage our teams to get involved. With this in mind, we recently introduced a Colleague Volunteer Programme offering an additional day of annual leave to colleagues who donate a day of their time to support the Trussell Trust, Crisis, or a charity of their choice.
Offering a helping hand to local charities is our way of showing we care about the people and places we have a presence in. We are proud to see our teams contributing to their communities and supporting our CSR commitments at the same time.
