Potential disruption during the Coronation of King Charles III

As preparations continue for the King’s Coronation on Saturday 6th May, we have been made aware of potential road closures and disruptions across London, and as such some customers in the capital may experience delays to their collections and deliveries in the lead up to and on the day of the event.

There will be anticipated traffic restrictions on 2nd and 3rd May to facilitate event preparation, and substantial planned road closures on 5th and 6th May for the King’s Coronation. The core impacted areas include St. James' Park, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Bridge, Waterloo, Embankment, Victoria, Mayfair, Whitehall, and Blackfriars, but this will also have a knock-on effect to surrounding neighbourhoods.

These road closures, as well as a large influx of visitors to the capital and potential congestion in surrounding areas means we are anticipating disruption to our London service.
