We’re delighted to announce that Collaborate UK 2017 is now available to download!
Now in its fifth year, the latest report on how SMEs collaborate with one another dives into the confidence and health of businesses nationally.
Over 1,000 UK SMEs were surveyed on a range of topics, such as their financial shape, plans for Brexit, collaboration efforts and business hopes for the next year within this unsure market.
Patrick Gallagher, CitySprint Group CEO, commented “For the nation’s smaller enterprises, reacting to disruption is the new norm. For many, adapting to seismic shifts is very much ‘business as unusual’ given their ever-changing operating environment.”
We were pleasantly surprised to see that our research found that the UK’s small and medium sized enterprises are in good financial health, yet to feel any significant impact to the bottom line following the Brexit decision - 87% reported that they are in the same or better shape financially compared to 12 months ago. SME’s are also investing in a combination of technology, their core customers, market expansion and cost reduction to ensure the success of their business over the next year.
Patrick also added “The UK’s smaller enterprises show no shortage of ambition when it comes to exploring new markets. While overall SME confidence has dropped since 2015 it is great to see so many SMEs, especially those outside of London, showing no fear in the face international opportunity.”
This year’s report is bigger and better than ever and we hope that you find our research not only of interest but also a motivation to collaborate and work together to survive and thrive.
