We are delighted to announce that six members of the CitySprint team took home awards at the 2017 National Courier Awards Ceremony.
Now in its 21st year, the Institute of Couriers recognise individuals and standards of those who work in the courier industry and go that extra mile.
CitySprint’s Delivery Proposition Manager Graham Smith went home with an award in the contract category. Graham was nominated for his creation, development and implementation of the Pharmacy to home delivery proposition.
Courier Darryl Claypole, who has worked with CitySprint for nine years, took away an award in the Ambassador category. Darryl was nominated for his relentless dedication to the job and his help in elevating our courier recruitment efforts through videos and interviews.
Aytach Gullu who has also worked as a courier with CitySprint for nine years won an award in the four wheel category. Aytach was nominated for going above and beyond the call of duty, especially in regards to our charity efforts concerning the recent Grenfell Tower fire in London earlier on in the year.
Courier Duncan Barney also took home an award in the four wheel category. Duncan operates in the Oxford region and was nominated for his endless reliability. Described as a ‘real asset’ to the fleet team, he demonstrates accountability and empathy on a daily basis.
In the office category, CitySprint saw Scot Brown receive an NCA office award. Scot joined the CitySprint team in 2010 and was nominated due to his reflection of all CitySprint’s core values: reliability, accountability, empathy and flair.
Finally, CitySprint also saw success in the NCA contract award category with Amy Joyce walking away with a win. Amy was nominated for solving a key operational issue regarding one of the businesses biggest contracts.
