Patrick Gallagher

CitySprint Group Chief Executive Officer


Patrick has over 25 years in the same day distribution industry in a career which began in the call centre of a London delivery company. Patrick’s wide range of experience includes managing a nationwide US courier business and more recently he led a successful management buy-out in 2010.

Since then Patrick’s been focused on expanding CitySprint’s market share and driving year on year growth at the company. In 2012 the company surpassed revenues of over £100m.


David Burtenshaw



David has held senior board positions in the logistics sector for 30 years including with Federal Express, ANC and Lynx Express. David became CEO of Lynx in 1999 and Chairman of the Board of the EuroExpress partnership in 2001, of which Lynx was a leading member. In 2005, David managed the sale of Lynx to UPS.

David was appointed Chairman of CitySprint in 2011 and is focused on working with the management team to continue the successful growth of the company.


Gerard Keenan

CitySprint Group Chief Financial Officer


Prior to joining CitySprint in 2004 Gerard held a number of senior financial roles for businesses in the service sector where he gained experience in the flotation and corporate financing of companies.

At CitySprint, Gerard has been instrumental in creating a firm funding foundation for the business and plays a key role in the growth of the company through acquisitions. In addition to managing the finances, Gerard is also responsible for the HR, IT and support functions of the business.


Paul Gisbourne

Chief Operating Officer - CitySprint

Paul has been instrumental in growing same day courier businesses throughout his career in this specialised market place since 1994.  With a strong foundation gained at TNT and other successful National Companies, he has excelled in all positions from Sales and Operational Management roles, through to his current position to date.

He joined CitySprint in 2006 as a Regional Manager and with his broad skill set, successfully evolved through the business and now has a key role on the Executive team leading Group operations.  Paul also has a responsibility for acquiring courier businesses as part of CitySprint’s buy and build strategy.



Darren Taylor

Chief Development Officer - CitySprint


Darren has 20 years industry experience within the logistics sector and joined CitySprint in 1997 with a proven track record in commercial, operational, project and account management.

Darren has played a key strategic role in the growth of CitySprint’s SameDay Logistics services and in particular has helped position CitySprint as a leader within the retail sector.



Justin Moore

Chief Sales Officer - CitySprint

Justin has been working in the distribution industry since 1994. Starting as a courier, he has since gained experience within operational, senior sales and business development roles, including five years at DHL.

Justin joined CitySprint in 2005 and is responsible for all areas of marketing, and new business development.


Santosh Sahu

Chief Executive Officer - LastMileLink Technologies

As CEO of LastMileLink Technologies (LMLT), an innovation incubator within the Group, Santosh is responsible for leading his team in the development of next generation last mile delivery software. He was also responsible for the design and implementation of On the dot’s defined timeslot delivery platform.

Prior to LMLT he worked at Capgemini and held consulting positions at John Lewis, Sainsbury’s and Tesco to develop sustainable multi-million pound supply chain strategies. Santosh also has an MBA from Henley Business School.



Sally-Anne Canning

Marketing Director - CitySprint

Sally-Anne has over 15 years' marketing management experience working across a variety of industries in both B2B and B2C sectors, including international experience working in Paris.

Since joining CitySprint in 2010, Sally-Anne has led the brand strategy, PR and marketing communications functions and is responsible for the delivery of all internal and external communications, as well strategic marketing and customer, market and competitor analysis. 



Matt Lister

Finance Director - CitySprint

Prior to joining CitySprint in 2007, Matt gained his experience through a variety of management roles in businesses predominately within the manufacturing sector. 

During his 10 years with CitySprint, Matt has been responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Group’s day to day finances, their data and reporting strategy, investment appraisal programme and facilitating their financial due diligence processes that underpin the Group’s successful buy-and-build strategy.  Matt was an integral part of the team that successfully completed a management buyout in 2016.
