It's that time again where we're able to reveal the latest winners of our Courier Champions scheme and celebrate the great service provided by them!
Every quarter, colleagues nominate the couriers they believe have gone above and beyond when it comes to delivering a great service or supporting their local community when it was needed most. The couriers we work with are an integral part of the business, and celebrating their commitment to providing top tier service is always a pleasure. So without further ado, here are our latest winners…
Dave from Birmingham, who won the ‘Client Crusader’ category
Dave was selected for being reliable, professional, polite and a team player! At Birmingham Women's Hospital, urgent movements are an everyday reality, and Dave has emerged as a shining star to ensure the seamless delivery of critical supplies. His tireless commitment and attention to detail have not only secured the safe and timely arrival of these vital resources but have also collected high praise from our valued client.
Imran from Leeds, who won the ‘Local Legend’ category
Imran was chosen for playing a crucial role in the internal CitySprint network which moves parcels overnight between service centres and for implementing the new scanning-to-trunk process across CitySprint. Thanks to his efforts, a number of challenges associated with the operation have been resolved which has significantly reduced the volume of delayed consignments.
Roger from Newcastle, who won the ‘Out of Hours Hero’ category
Roger was recognised for being a shining example of what it means to go above and beyond to ensure customers receive the outstanding service they deserve. Known as the courier who is always willing to help, Roger's dedication to his role and his willingness to step up whenever needed have made a significant impact on our operations, particularly in Newcastle.
SJ from Nottingham, who won the ‘Nationwide Natural’ category
SJ was entered by the Sheffield team for covering deliveries on behalf of our Nottingham service centre, particularly in moments when they needed a helping hand with increased delivery volumes. But it's not just her helpfulness that makes her stand out - it's her infectious positivity and warmth for CitySprint people and customers.
We’d also like to give a special mention to all of the other nominees, each of whom should be proud for being recognised as great at what they do. Although winning is always a great feat, just being nominated is a great sign of the outstanding service and above-and-beyond attitude that the courier suppliers demonstrate on a daily basis.
